The Learning to Learn Week

This course focuses specifically on how to design, establish and embed the concept of a dedicated Learning to Learn Week as a whole school initiative that launches the academic year and prepares all children for success for the rest of the yaer and their lives. The week enables practitioners to teach the children how to learn and how to succeed by focusing on models of learning, critical and creative thinking skills, visible learning, philosophy for children and lifelong learning dispositions and behaviours. The course will offer participants a wealth of ideas that can be taught each day and it will also enable participants to plan a personalised to their school, context and age group Learning to Learn Week that supports their passions and particular pedagogical and school improvement drivers.
